After 4 billion years, a new tree will sprout in the ‘‘Garden of Eden’’. Non-DNA-based biological systems will be a safer place to conduct SB experiments and applications

MAYA, an artificial DNA, molecular automaton, capable of engaging you in tic-tac-toe.

MAYA consists of 9 test tubes. Contained within are the synthetic DNA enzymes that comprise the logic gates of the MAYA system

IBM’s Watson is impressive, but in the long rung who’d bet against MAYA.

Tic-tac-toe is a shout out to the first computer game coded on the ESDAC in 1949

Exciting research on the execution of biological computer processes, in-vivo.

The living animal which the molecular automata computed was a cockroach. The logic gates which were successfully executed in the animal were: AND, OR, XOR, NAND, NOT, CNOT and a half adder.

I decided to stop my job hunting process in Japan because it is consuming most of my time and begun to disrupt my research and my mind physiologically.
I am not regretting it at the moment.
During the job hunting period, i was forced to write down my CV and entry sheets in Japanese language, which was a very big deal for a dumb ass like me. I spent hours just to finished a pharagraph. I went to companies presentations and was forced to understood everything that was brought in Japanese language outside my field. It was indeed exhausting.
I put my research as my top priority now. I don’t care if i can’t get a job in a Japanese company in japan.Life is not just about getting a prestigious status nor a huge salary though.
I am not regretting it at the moment.
But thanks to that exhausting process, i believe that now i have grown a LOT mentally. And of course, my Japanese language ability is now becoming better than before. i guess. I can wrote down a resume of lab seminar (the photo) more smoothly and faster than before now. :)
And of course i am not regretting it at all at the moment. :))
