Uehara sensei (right side) used to be my sensei of nihongo during my intership last year at TUAT. She and her family have been on vacation to Indonesia with her japanese friend who’s living in Jakarta. During her vacation, even though its very far away from her vacation site: Jogjakarta, she still allocated some extra time just to visit Bandung and meet ME before her tomorrow’s departure to another trip to Taipei.

saya : iya masih, ampe akhir agustus
sensei : kalo gitu kamu nanti ga kebagian bento, gomen ne~
saya : oh ga apa-apa sensei, zenzen daijoubu!
memang agak kecewa sih ga bakalan dapet makanan gratis hari minggu ini dan makan2 bareng tim proteomik sekaligus anak-anak SMA yang belajar elektroforesis.. tapi HEY!, dengan bilang satu kata "maaf" saja saya sudah sangat senang, kata maaf disini ga cuman kata minta izin kami makan di depan kamu yang lagi puasa, tapi kata yang juga berarti "kami menghargai kepercayaanmu, agamamu...."
bersyukur dan senang sekali bagaimana mereka yang sama sekali ga kenal Islam itu apa bisa menghargai dan menghormati.....
